A new building after over 50 years on Teesside Industrial Estate
Henry Gallacher has now moved into a new 20,000 sq. ft. unit on Teesside Industrial Estate. Established in 1965 the business was in fact one of the first occupiers on the estate, and still operating from their original premises, as well as a further three units attached to the original! With extra space needed for growth and equipment investment, as well as the premises being over 50 years old, it was time for a move.
As part of the R&G Fluid Power Group, the move also means Henry Gallacher will now be sharing the unit with Integraflex – another business that was already present on Teesside Industrial Estate.
The move allows greater collaboration between the two businesses and a greatly enhanced product offering to customers.
New machinery investment, enhances the customer offering
As a long-established UK gasket cutter and flange insulation kit manufacturer, Henry Gallacher has remained a key part of the industrial supply chain for over 50 years. Customer service has always been at the heart of everything they do, and investing in the latest technology adds to their ability to serve the demands of a customer base that relies on quick turn round and high product quality.
Business has developed and Henry Gallacher recognised the need to add further technological innovation and increase capacity to be able to continue to give the customer the best possible service.
A brand new Kimla Industrial BPF CNC Router has been installed at the new premises, giving Henry Gallacher the ability to cut an extended range of materials, further improving what they can offer the customer. With the addition of a router head and dust extraction system, the Kimla machine adds a new level of self-sufficiency to Henry Gallacher.
With modern operational, control and nesting software, the Kimla BPF takes the facilities to a new level and allows the business to develop whilst enhancing the product quality.
As key suppliers to National Infrastructure, both Henry Gallacher and Integraflex are open for business at 72 Jay Avenue, Teesside Industrial Estate Thornaby, TS17 9LZ.
